On a trip, observing the countryman's way of sitting and registering the typical furniture from the farms I visited, I decided to reread a wooden chair that I found at my grandfather's house. That was how Sertanejo came about. With a low seat, reclining back and formal simplicity, it no longer resembles its ancestral version, but maintains the characteristics of an authentic Brazilian furniture.
