Paying homage to Amazonian women, different shapes of the traditional baskets from the Amazon region get an identity and become a source of light.

The baskets receive the Origens Brasil (Imaflora) label and its QR code makes it possible to track the products made by

traditional people.

The lamps created by studioMK27 are made up of two types of basket weaving: one produced by the Maravilha Handicraft Group (Careiro Castanho, AM) with cipó-ambé , traditional Brazilian vines; and another made by the Baniwa (Indigenous Organization from Içana Basin, Alto Rio Negro, AM), with arumã fiber, with dyeing and fixing made with plants from the region.
