Seeking to provide comfort to those who visited his newborn son, the designer developed the Joaquim sofa, in homage to his eldest son. With references from Brazilian modernism applied to contemporary times, the piece brings a game of volumes, transparencies and cantilevered structures with materials such as wood and hexagonal raw cotton straw. The collection also unfolds in other sofas, armchairs, chaises and modules.
